5.11 Tactical Series® has done it again. Our new Taclite™ Pro Pant is ready for wear and we know this one will be a hit. Fashioned after our traditional 5.11 Tactical pant the new 5.11 Taclite™ Pro Pant features a lightweight poly-cotton ripsotp fabric and a fully gusseted crotch that allows for full range of movement. These pants have pockets located for easy access to all of your gear. An external knife pocket on the right front side gives you easy access to a 5.11 Tarani Knife. Two cargo pockets are located on both thighs and a magazine/cell phone pocket is located over the left cargo pocket for quick access with your off-hand. The magazine and new knife pocket are reinforced with 100% Cordura nylon. We have kept our traditional slash pockets in the rear along with the web strap found on our 5.11 Tactical Pants.
Cops have been waiting patiently for a lightweight version of our Classic Pant and the TacLite™ Pro Pant fits the bill. Made of lightweight 65% polyester and 35% non-fading polycotton ripstop you have a pant that is extremely functional and maintains a neat clean and professional look. We’ve also treated the pants with HT Teflon® Wear Resis"Tan"t Finish for stain and soil resis"Tan"ce to maintain that good look no matter what the daily activity.
The belt loops are thick enough to support a large belt to carry the weight of a sidearm cuffs or other equipment. We use only YKK® zippers Prym® snaps and Horn buttons so that you can rest assured that these Taclite™ Pro Pant will last. We’ve also included our traditional clip loop on the front of the Taclite™ Pro Pant for our great traditional 5.11 Tactical look.
We’ve given you a full range of great colors. The 5.11 Taclite™ Pro Pant comes in Black "Coyote" "TDU Green" "Tundra" "TDU Khaki" and "Dark Navy".

These Taclite Pants are a little pricey compared to what I usually wear to work but the extra cost is worth it. The Taclite Pants fit me just right and wear very well. I've even been complimented by my co-workers on my taclite pants. I liked them so much I bought a 2nd pair of taclite pants just like the first.
Taclite Pants are similar to the cotton version in construction but considerably lighter. Legs tend to be narrow and drag over the knees when lifting your leg slightly restricting movement. I'd point out the cotton version of taclite pants does the same. Also Taclite pants materials are "shiney" in sunlight even after several washings. Taclite pants are very durable and comfortable. Like all the pockets. Taclite pants pockets hold up well after numerous washings color has not faded. Taclite pants are great for duty wear or plain clothes. Just bought the Taclite pants for my other job with a police dept but I'm so satisfied I will wear them over my EMS taclite pants I'm issued at my primary because they are SO much better. Matter of fact if the other medics like them I will be switching from our current supplier to 5.11 for all our taclite pants here. Thanks for a GREAT product. I like the design of the 5.11 taclite pants. The taclite pants do a great job with all the gear I've taken to carrying around on me. My only problem is that the taclite pants fit a bit odd. The length seems fine when I s"Tan"d up but whenever I sit and cross my legs the cuff rides halfway up my calf. Other than that these are great taclite pants. These taclite pants are the only taclite pants I will trust in wildland SAR missions. The taclite pants protect you from almost any aspect in the woods and have a great capacity for carry essential gear needed. This takes the load off of your backpack. Also as an emt-als provider the taclite pants will with s"Tan"d blood stains with no prior treatment before washing. SIMPLY THE BEST TACLITE PANTS I HAVE EVER OWNED! These taclite pants are perfect for warm weather climates!! The magazine pocket in my taclite pants blew my mind...I stored a Glock 21 mag in there and didn't feel it all day long. I had to check a couple of times because I thought it may have fell out some how. Sizing threw me off I am 6'3" and ordered a 34 inseam and they were too long (I would suggest one length shorter than your used to). Great jog 511 you nailed this one! great taclite pants! This is my third pair of 511 taclite pants and my first with the rip stop material. I love the taclite pants. Very comfortable and fit perfect. I have shopped other brands of taclite pants and tried on many BDU style taclite pants and I keep coming back to 511 taclite pants. Can't beat the quality. Quality was outs"Tan"ding. Over my 30 year career I have tried every pair of taclite pants ever made for both the military or law enforcement. Since using the 511 taclite pants at the Miami Dade Police Department I have decided to buy several pairs of taclite pants for when I retire. Thats what I think of the product. As expected these taclite pants met or exceeded all expectations. Quality construction lightweight hard wearing. Will continue to buy 5.11 taclite pants for the forseeable future. only one point disappointed me a bit i wear the Taclite pants in "Coyote" and had a field excercise in a nearby field stains from dirt trees and grass all over ! and i can`t get the grass stains out of the taclite pants !? same happend with my "Tundra" colored one :(
guess i have to buy one more in "Coyote" as i love to wear them for leisure as well" These aren't your typical taclite pants! They are light weight very comfortable and take a beating. I cant tell you how much I have spilled on these taclite pants and not a stain can be seen. The taclite pants offer pockets right where you need them and where the taclite pants dont interfere with any of your gear! After this discovery I wont where anything else! "Okay overall they're great. Great fit great design everyone seems to think so. However I find that the cloth they've used for these taclite pants makes my legs itchy after a day or two of wear. These are the only taclite pants that have ever caused my legs to itch. So if you're sensitive and tend to get itchy skin from certain materials stick to the cotton ones or get a really large pair of these taclite pants to minimize contact.
